Thank you for choosing Beauty & Brows to handle your eyebrow beauty needs. We want to help ensure your new Powder Brows/Microblading eyebrows maintain their beauty, so please read the following carefully.
Immediately after your procedure is completed, the eyebrow pigment will appear very natural looking. However, as the eyebrows begin to heal, the pigment will begin to darken over the next few hours to few days. This is normal. Some customers may develop some slight scabbing, which will contribute to darkening the shade.
Due to your skin's natural recovery and regeneration process, you may experience some slight itching and skin peeling. It may look like dandruff or dry skin flaking off. If you developed scabs, then the scabs will begin to peel off as well. Please note this is just superficial color and dry skin being naturally removed from your eyebrows. The final look of your eyebrows will be apparent approximately 30 days after your initial procedure.
Never rub the treated area as it may cause irritation and will disturb the natural healing process. As the skin peels and heals, the eyebrow pigment may appear lighter. This might give you the impression that color is fading too quickly. Often, even with proper care, customers may develop bald spots or lose some of the original hair strokes or pigment which make the brows look uneven. It is absolutely normal. That is the reason why most customers need a touch-up after approximately 6-8 weeks.
It is very important that you do not let any water, lotion, soap, or makeup touch your eyebrow area during the first 7 days after your procedure. After 5-7 days, make sure your hands are completely clean and gently apply the post-care ointment (A&D ointment, grape seed oil, or coconut oil) with a cotton swab. This can be done once at night time but be sure to use the ointment sparingly as your skin needs to heal itself. Please continue to apply the ointment for 7 days.Once completely healed, always apply a layer of sunscreen SPF 30 up to SPF 50 on your eyebrows when exposed to the sun. Sun exposure may cause the coloring to fade away more quickly. When using foundation, be careful to avoid applying makeup on your healed eyebrows. The foundation will make the brows appear lighter. In order to avoid scarring, infection, premature fading, color changes, or delayed healing, the following must be avoided for 14 days post-microblading/powder brows procedure:
Touching of the eyebrow area except for when rinsing and applying the post-care cream with a cotton swab. Please wash your face carefully around the eyebrow without getting water on the treated area. During the shower, keep your face away from the shower head. As stated, itching and flaking may appear during the first seven days post-microblading / powder brows procedure. However, experience has shown that by following these after-care instructions, these symptoms may quickly disappear. You can now enjoy your beautiful new temporary eyebrows. You will simply love your new gorgeous fresh look!
